Tip of the Month: Make Reservations

Some of the local beaches are "Off-Limits" to the general public. Well, I recently found that you can get on almost any beach in Cabo you want. Just make reservations! The restaurant at One&Only Palmilla is your ticket in.

Yes, you can take a lovely stroll on the beach at the One&Only Palmilla without living there or staying in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend bringing your spear gun with you while you sample the most elegantly served breakfast in the area, but do get ready to relax in the hammock afterward.

For the record , I am not recommending you trespass onto private property. =) I just wanted to let you in on a little secret of mine.

Fish Report: The Fish Are Biting...

This is one of the slowest weeks so far, with 66% overall success rate. We started the week with 10ft waves on the Sea of Cortez, many people decided to stay closer and try to catch some inshore, while the adventurers decided to go a little further to improve their chances and went off to 30 miles out achieving their goal. C-ROD caught 10 Yellow fin Tuna, 1 Dorado and a 200lbs Striped Marlin for Doug Mirkovich on June 17th. Ruthless released 3 Striped Marlin on Destiladeras on June 19th for Don and Danny Edwards from Westminster, CA. Also on June 19th Marea released 3 Striped Marlin and boated another one for Kenneth & Judy Willis, the same day. C-ROD released 2 Striped Marlin one Dorado and caught 8 Yellow fin Tuna for Joe, Melanie, Dylan and Tess Graham from Jay, Ok. Sundancer released 3 Striped Marlin for Lisa Turner on June 20th. La Brisa released 2 Striped Marlin and one Sailfish for Matthew Adamson from Red, TX. 42% of our boats caught billfish and total of 45 were caught and 43 were released.
